The Scorpion is a predatory arachnid of the order Scorpiones. With eight legs and an easily recognized pair of grasping pincers up front followed by a narrow tail, usually carried with a forward curve over the back that ends with a stinger. The actual evolutionary history of scorpions goes back 435 million years.
